Carlisle Bay is a GSTC-certified, all-suite beach resort nestled amidst rainforest-covered hills on Antigua's unspoiled south coast, gracing one of the island's most stunning private beaches. It offers a cool, calm, and contemporary retreat, approximately a 20-minute drive from historic Nelson's Dockyard and 35 minutes from St. John's. V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU) is approximately a 40-minute drive away, with a complimentary meet and greet fast track service available for arrivals.
The resort features 87 spacious, air-conditioned suites, each individually decorated and offering a private balcony or patio with garden or ocean views. Suites are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, a minibar, safe, satellite programming, and private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers, designer toiletries, and a hairdryer. DVD players are also provided.
Guests can enjoy a range of amenities including an outdoor freshwater swimming pool, a full-service Cara organic spa offering massages, body treatments, and facials, and a well-equipped fitness center with personal training and aerobics. Recreational facilities include five tennis courts, two pickleball courts, and various non-motorized watersports (excluding jet skis). A luxurious air-conditioned screening room/theater offers varied evening movies.
Carlisle Bay boasts four outstanding restaurants, serving diverse culinary experiences from grills, seafood, and healthy options at Indigo on the Beach (international cuisine), to exciting Asian cuisine at East, classic Italian dishes from a wood-burning pizza oven at Ottimo (poolside), and a beachside adults-only Jetty Grill. Breakfast is served buffet-style, and room service is available during limited hours. The resort also features multiple bars/lounges.
Family-friendly amenities include a year-round kids' club for ages 2-7, with activities for older children and teens during school holidays, and babysitting services (surcharge). Additional services include a 24-hour front desk, concierge, laundry and dry cleaning services (some for a fee), limo/town car service, and free self-parking. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge. On-site facilities also include a tropical garden, library, and a boutique shop.
**Important Closure Information:** The property is closed annually between July 25 and October 16. Additionally, from August 15 to October 15, 2026 (dates subject to change), certain facilities and services will be unavailable, including one bar/lounge, one dining venue, one swimming pool, the beach, children's club, daily housekeeping, laundry facilities, meeting facilities, recreation facilities, sauna, shuttle services, spa, spa/beauty services, supervised childcare, and tennis courts.
