Nestled along the wild and unspoiled east coast of Mauritius, Sunrise Attitude is an adults-only (18+) hotel offering an elegant oasis of calm between sprawling fields and a turquoise lagoon. This eco-committed retreat invites guests to disconnect and reconnect, whether with a partner, friends, or themselves. The hotel is located opposite the white-sand Belle Mare Beach, accessible by crossing the street, approximately 30 meters away.
The hotel features 145 air-conditioned rooms and 8 villas, some with private plunge pools or swim-up access. Rooms and villas are decorated with locally-made crafts, inspired by nature's purest colors and textures like wood, stone, thatch, and local hues. To encourage disconnection, rooms and villas generally do not include a TV. While rooms feature private furnished balconies or patios, guests won't find a stocked minibar; instead, they can visit the hotel’s Bulk Shop to stock up on tea, coffee, and snacks in reusable glass jars. All accommodations include showers, hair dryers, and complimentary wireless internet access.
Dining options include three restaurants, such as The Social House and The Market (serving daily buffet breakfast from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM), offering healthy and delicious cuisine with a wide vegan selection and locally-sourced ingredients. A dine-around experience is available for half-board guests. Guests can relax at one of the four bars/lounges, including a poolside bar and a swim-up bar, or enjoy offerings from a street food truck. Halal choices are available. An elegant dress code applies in restaurants and bars from 18:30, with swimsuits, pareos, and flip-flops reserved for the pool or beach.
Recreational amenities include two outdoor freshwater pools furnished with sunloungers, umbrellas, and swings. Guests can pamper themselves at Spa POZ, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials using 100% natural, locally-grown ingredients. A hamam is also available for a fee. Activities include bicycle rental, a games room, fitness facilities (fees may apply), beach volleyball, glass-bottomed boat tours, snorkeling, and self-guided walking or cycling tours via a free mobile app. The hotel also offers creative workshops and unique experiences like dinner with a local family, alongside an adult activity program with live music.
Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the property. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, concierge services, gift shops, a mini market, and various other shops. Dry cleaning/laundry services are available for a fee.
