An important local regulation to note is the observance of Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year, typically in March or April. During this 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM), all visitors must remain within the property, and check-in/check-out services are suspended. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on this day.
