Galley Bay Resort & Spa - All Inclusive - Adults Only is an intimate, 5-star beachfront hideaway designed for couples and newlyweds seeking a romantic getaway. Set between a private, three-quarter-mile white sand beach and 40 acres of lush tropical gardens in St. John's (Five Islands Village), this boutique resort offers a refined, yet unpretentious, atmosphere. V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU) is approximately 14 km away, and Cedar Valley Golf Course is 4.5 km from the resort.
The resort features 98 individually decorated guestrooms, many offering ocean views and a patio or balcony. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, complimentary wireless internet access, a pillowtop bed with premium bedding, and coffee and tea making facilities. Private bathrooms include bathtubs or showers, designer toiletries, hair dryers, and bathrobes. Minibars are available. Select rooms may feature air conditioning, separate living areas, and private pools (in GardenView Suites).
Guests can indulge in a delectable farm-to-table culinary experience crafted by a Michelin-trained chef across four restaurants. Dining options include Caribbean and continental specialties at Sea Grape Restaurant, classics at Barefoot Grill, private candlelit cabana dining at Gauguin, and local island dishes at Ismay's Restaurant & Bar. Snacks are available at the coffee shop/cafe, and room service is offered during limited hours. Up to five bars and lounges, including a Caribbean Rum Shack and a pool bar, serve a variety of beverages.
Relax and rejuvenate at the full-service Indulge Spa, offering massages, body treatments, and facials. A hair and nail salon is also available.
Recreational amenities abound, with a freshwater swimming pool featuring a cascading waterfall, an outdoor tennis court with an Astro Turf surface, and an air-conditioned fitness center. Complimentary non-motorized watersports include sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, Hobie-style catamarans, stand-up paddleboarding, and Sunfish Boats. Guests can also enjoy volleyball, a beachfront yoga pavilion, bicycles, croquet, a gaming room with table tennis and open-air pool tables, and a lagoon for fly fishing. Nightly entertainment is provided.
Additional conveniences include a 24-hour front desk, complimentary self-parking, luggage storage, a library and lounge, gift shops, a boutique, and concierge services. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available for a fee.
The all-inclusive package covers accommodations; all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner); all beverages (name-brand liquors, house wine by the glass, Caribbean beers, tropical coolers, and soft drinks by the glass); non-motorized water sports; tennis, bicycles, and croquet; use of the freshwater swimming pool; nightly entertainment; and all applicable taxes and service charges.
Please note that Galley Bay Resort & Spa is an adults-only property, welcoming guests aged 16 and over. Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out is until 12:00. A resort fee of $24.00 per room, per night, and an Antigua government tax of $5.00 per person, per night, are collected on the property.
