Once the awe-inspiring home of notable shipping baron, Sir John Lithgow, the resort offers spectacular panoramic views over the Clyde Estuary, Ben Lomond, the rolling Renfrewshire hills, and the River Clyde. It is conveniently located 10 minutes' drive from Glasgow International Airport.
The resort features an 18-hole championship golf course and the luxurious Imperia Spa. The full-service Imperia Spa, which has undergone a significant transformation and is now open, offers massages, body treatments, and facials. Its Thermal & Relaxation Experiences include an outdoor sauna with panoramic countryside views, an Aroma Steam Room, a Salt Steam Room, and a deeply cleansing Pink Himalayan Salt Sauna. Wet Facilities comprise an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool, an Ice Fountain, Sensory Showers, and a Cold Plunge Pool. The Wellbeing Studio and Fitness Suite provide a gym with a dedicated free weights area and a Peloton bike, alongside instructor-led classes such as yoga and Pilates. Guests can reserve 2-hour spa access directly with the Imperia spa team for a fee (from £25 per person), with specific morning (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM) and evening (5:00 PM - 9:00 PM) time slots. Children under 16 are not permitted in the spa facilities, while those aged 16 to 18 may use them if accompanied by a responsible adult. Gym access is included with your stay. Please note, the outdoor terrace and a previous outdoor hot tub are currently closed for ground works to develop a brand-new state-of-the-art outdoor spa pool, due to open early Spring.
The resort offers 75 guestrooms, each featuring a flat-screen TV, complimentary wireless internet access, a desk, and coffee/tea making facilities. Private bathrooms are equipped with a shower/tub combination, designer toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms also include air conditioning. Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort provides complimentary WiFi access throughout and free on-site public parking. The 24-hour front desk offers luggage storage and a safe deposit box.
