Blue Flamingo Resort Key West, Key West’s newest vacation destination, is ideally situated at the gateway to the island, known as Cayo Hueso. This tropical escape offers convenient access to Old Town and attractions across the 2-mile-by-4-mile island, located at the southernmost tip of the continental U.S. and the tail end of the 120-mile-long Florida Keys island chain. Key West International Airport (EYW) is approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) away, a 10-minute drive, and guests can also arrive by ferry from Fort Myers.
The resort features 145 newly renovated, island-inspired guest rooms. Each individually furnished room includes a refrigerator, LCD television with cable programming, complimentary wireless internet access, a safe, and air conditioning. Bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs or showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Select rooms may offer additional amenities such as a separate living room, linen service, or blackout curtains.
Multiple dining establishments are available: Toasted Coconut, serving American cuisine; Rum Row, a tiki-inspired poolside grogshop; The Backyard, offering comfort food like loaded burgers; The Food Truck for unique flavors; and an on-site Starbucks for coffee and pastries. Guests can enjoy a full breakfast daily for a fee. The resort also features multiple bars, including poolside options, for refreshing beverages and evening entertainment.
The resort boasts a lively pool scene with two outdoor pools, complete with sun loungers and umbrellas. Recreational amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, karaoke, and an arcade/game room. A complimentary shuttle service is provided daily to Old Town and operates within an 8-mile radius, with additional taxi services available. The 24-hour front desk is staffed by multilingual personnel and offers concierge services, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage. Event facilities include conference space and meeting rooms. For guest convenience, on-site parking is available for a fee, along with convenience stores and dry cleaning services.
A resort fee of $39.37 per night will be charged at check-in. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel, with designated smoking zones available. Accepted methods of payment include Visa, American Express, and Euro/MasterCard.
