Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of India's last great palaces and among the world's largest private residences, is a magnificent golden yellow sandstone monument set amidst 26 acres of lush gardens. Completed in 1943 and showcasing a distinctive Art Deco style, it offers a unique experience where the current Maharaja of Jodhpur still resides.
Located in the heart of Jodhpur, the palace is just 1.4 km (0.9 mi) from Jodhpur (JDH) airport. Guests are within a 5-minute drive of Umed Garden (3.1 km / 1.9 mi) and Mata Temple (4 km / 2.5 mi), with other attractions like Shri Ganesh Temple (4 km / 2.5 mi) and Rai Ka Bag Palace (4.9 km / 3 mi) also nearby.
The palace features 71 individually decorated guestrooms, designed for comfort with a home-like atmosphere.
